Pak Belalang is a famous person. He has a magic book that can tell everything. He always learned something every time he read a magic book.

That night was a beautiful night. Pak Belalang had several guests. Suddenly he asked his son to get the magic book to him. He wanted to demonstrate the power of the magic book to his guests. After reading the magic book, he said,


"I think there's a rat caught in the trap."

His son immediately went into the kitchen and took a mousetrap. Turns out Pak Belalang was right! There was a mouse that entered trapped. The guests are shocked. That is the magic book Grasshopper. After all the guests left, Pak Belalang laughed,

“Ha...ha...ha... I tricked them. They didn't know that it was I who had set the mousetrap. Ha ha ha..."

Yes, Pak Belalang is lying. He actually never owned a magic book. It's just an ordinary book. He lied because he wanted to be famous.

One day, the king summoned Pak Belalang to the palace to look for his missing jewelry. The king gave him seven days to find him. Pak Belalang knew that if he could not find the jewelry, he would be punished. He will be in jail. Pak Belalang went to every place to look for the jewelry.


On the seventh day, she still could not find the jewelry. So, he threw a farewell dinner with his family. Pak Belalang said to his wife,

"Please make me a macaroon."

When the first pancake was ready, Pak Belalang said,

“This one is yellow. Please make another one. ”

When the second one was ready, he said,

"It's too brown, make me another one."

In each pancake, Pak Belalang says it is dark, too fat or thick, too thin or thin, and so on. Meanwhile, Pak Belalang did not know that there were thieves hiding under his house. They were thieves who stole the king's jewels. The thieves wanted to know what Pak Belalang would say about them. When they hear the words yellow, brown, dark, fat/thick, and thin/thin. A moment later, the seven thieves knocked on his door. they cry,

“Please help us, Pak Belalang! We will return the jewelry. We promise not to steal again!”

Pak Belalang then brought the jewelery to the palace. The king was very happy and gave him a big gift. Pak Belalang is very grateful. He promised himself not to lie again. Next time he won't be so lucky. He could have been punished for his mistake again.
