THE PRINCESS OF SNAKE
Once upon a time in Simalungun, North Sumatra, there was a king with his beautiful daughter. The princess is famous. Many youths admire her beauty. One of the young men who fell in love with her was a prince from a neighboring kingdom. The prince came to Simalungun and talked to the king. He wanted to propose to the princess. Later, the king spoke to his daughter about the marriage proposal. The princess is a very good princess. He didn't want to disappoint his parents. She knew her parents wanted her to accept the prince's marriage proposal. The king and queen are happy. They are happy that their daughter is finally planning to get married.

Then, the wedding ceremony was prepared. Everyone in the kingdom is busy. They all want to contribute to the marriage. The princess was also busy preparing herself. The only thing he had to do was he had to take care of his body carefully. She wants to look very beautiful during the wedding ceremony. As usual, the princess and her ladies were bathing in the pond in the palace garden. The princess was very happy and she was playing in the pool.
The princess wasn't careful and she accidentally slipped. His nose hit a large rock and was bleeding. The court ladies immediately helped him. When they were able to stop the bleeding from his nose, they were shocked. The princess's nose is no longer pretty. When the princess found out what happened, she was very sad. She was afraid that the prince would cancel the wedding. And if that really happened, the king would be furious.

The princess was very sorry, she was not careful in the pool. However, it was too late. It was useless for him to regret what had happened. The princess then prayed to God.
“God, I'm not a good boy, God. I can't make my parents proud of me. Please punish me O God. I can't live anymore. I don't want to see my parents sad just because of me," the princess prayed.
Right after the princess finished praying, the princess slowly turned into a snake. Starting from his feet and slowly working his way up to the upper body as well. The ladies-in-waiting were shocked. They went to the palace and told the king.
When the king and queen arrived at the pond, the princess had completely turned into a snake. The king and queen are sad. They saw their only daughter had turned into a snake. The snake also looked very sad, but he could no longer speak. Slowly, the snake went into the bushes and disappeared. The snake couldn't live in the palace anymore and couldn't turn back into a human again. After all, it was the princess' prayer to God.
